Networking Like a Scrum Reporter: Why Don Martelli Builds Community Everywhere He Goes

Don Martelli is a strategic communications, public affairs, and business growth professional with more than 25 years of experience centered on one core principle: trust drives results.

A former journalist, he is the founder of PR Bunker, a Boston-based crisis communications and reputation management firm, as well as SBGA, NPO Start-up, and Mission Engine, programs that help small businesses and nonprofits grow through stronger relationships and community engagement. He also leads user education, PR, and social media at Alignable and hosts The PR Bunker Podcast, which has surpassed 100 episodes.

Beyond his professional work, Don is deeply involved in his Revere, Massachusetts community, serving as chair of the public library board, president of the chamber of commerce board, and a member of the committee overseeing the city’s new high school. He also handles PR and strategic partnerships for NexusGaming and is a competitive gamer.
